Today, July 30th, 2013, we are announcing the creation of the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi. The purpose of the commission is to attempt to determine the truth and accuracy of what happened in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th, 2012, in reference to the terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound, which resulted in the death of four Americans, including the ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens. Also, we will be looking at what led up to it, in the days, weeks and months that preceded the attack; and how it was dealt with by the Obama administration, the media and Congress in the aftermath of the tragic events of that day, which was the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, D.C. in 2001.

While Congress has held a number of public hearings on Benghazi, in October 2012, December 2012, January 2013, February 2013 and May 2013, and the Accountability Review Board, which was appointed by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and was thus, in essence, an internal investigation, we believe that Congress, the media and the American people still have not been given a true account of what happened, why it happened and on whose orders the various actions, and inactions, occurred.

We intend to hold a public conference on September 16, 2013, to ascertain as many facts as possible about those events. We will be inviting people to testify, not under oath, about what they know and how they know it. For example, we want to know: Scissors-32x32.png

The Unspoken Obama Lie That Led to Benghazi

By Jack Cashill

To make a difference going forward, Trey Gowdy and the House’s Benghazi select committee may want to ask how the U.S. got involved in Libya in the first place. What they will discover is that Barack Obama borrowed a page from the Clinton playbook on Kosovo, a lethal exercise in mendacity unparalleled in recent American history. Much of the mischief I unearthed in my forthcoming book, You Lie!, I expected to find. This nugget surprised me.

In his March 2011 address to the nation, Barack Obama laid out the case for America’s surprise military intervention in Libya. Scissors-32x32.png

Leadership, Lies and Cover-up

Benghazi cover-up exposed

By Prof. Michael F. Kenney (Star Patcher) - October 25, 2012 10:45 am ET

Let’s talk leadership. True leaders take minimal credit for their successes and give the majority of the credit to their subordinates. Likewise they take full responsibility for consequences when things go sour.

Such is the case when an officer assumes command in the U.S. Navy and military at large. If the captain of a ship collides with another ship at sea, even if he was sound asleep in his cabin that captain will be relieved of his command. Why? Here’s the answer - he was remiss in delegation of authority and bestowing trust upon those who actually caused the collision. The buck stops at the top of the chain. This is the standard for leadership!

Unfortunately this standard is absent in the Obama administration. Such is the case with the Benghazi debacle.Scissors-32x32.png

Hillary Clinton supposedly took “full responsibility” for what happened in Benghazi. Scissors-32x32.png
