Give it an effing rest, Obama!

They won’t stop. They just won’t stop.

There is no pause to the Obama propaganda machine. There is nothing too sacred not to be violated.Loathe peaceful holidays? Detest the spirit of agreeableness and good will that tends to pervade during this time of year? Well, if you’re longing for it to be ’tis the season of debates, irritations, and shouting matches, you’re in luck: The Obama administration thinks the holidays are the perfect time to gather round and discuss … Obamacare.

Over at Weasel Zippers, ZIP has done a great job of noting how Obama and his OFA Nazis constantly dun, cajole and berate people into accepting their mindsets and carrying our their dictates. For example, it’s the GOP’s fault that Obama is so utterly incompetent with regard to Obamacare: Scissors-32x32.png

Cancer Patient Who Spoke Out Against O-Care Gets Audited by IRS

Jim Hoft

11/28/13

Earlier this month cancer patient Bill Elliot went on FOX News to discuss how he lost his health insurance thanks to Obamacare

He went on FOX News where his story was picked up by C. Steven Tucker, a health insurance broker who helped him keep his insurance.

Now suddenly Bill Elliot is being audited for 2009 with an interview only scheduled in April 2014. Assuming he lives that long. That might be a coincidence, but Tucker is being audited back to 2003.

Interesting. The IRS can't actually enforce the fine if you don't have insurance, but they sure could audit you each and every year.

This is criminal. It can't be just coincidence any more.

How on earth do we fight this?

As I recall this is not the 1st time someone has criticized our Community-OrganizerIn-Chief and found themselves being audited.

Exactly! It happens over and over and over. Starting with Joe the plumber. It is naked tyranny and I say that without exaggeration.

The GOP seems too cowardly to stand up for their own interests, let alone regular folks. When the power of the government is brought down on an average citizen who dares to criticize it openly, we are way way beyond simply punishing political enemies. It is a line that has been crossed that is indefensible.

We had "the talk" yesterday........expletives aplenty.

We decided that it would be best to do away with Obama.......................................................................Care.

That's hilarious!

I think being laughed at is probably harder on the president than being yelled at. He has such a thin skin.

You are so right, he is a thin skinned, vindictive jerk that laughing at him is probably painful

Eliana Johnson: In the Trenches With the ObamaCare Army

One group of navigators planned to sign up 5,800 people by March. So far: zero.

Eliana Johnson

Nov. 29, 2013

Durham, N.C.

Even when the Obama administration was under the impression that the launch of the Affordable Care Act was going to work splendidly, with a first-rate website, the plan still called for "navigators" to help people sign up. Now, with the ACA website Healthcare.gov hobbled, and even many of the president's supporters grumbling that the law may need a radical rethinking, the work of the tens of thousands of these helpers is more vital than ever.

How's it going? Not well, to judge from a visit with navigators in North Carolina, one of 34 states that decided not to open their own health-insurance exchanges.

Such unshakable confidence in ObamaCare among its proselytizer-navigators, despite its bungled debut, will be essential if the law is to succeed. The Affordable Care Act "makes a lot of sense," Mr. Correa says. "It's kind of like the youth is taking care of the elderly. Young people are paying more but using the system less, and older people are paying less but using the system more." That line might be a hard sell to a skeptical public, but it reflects the essenceand one of the many challengesof ObamaCare.

After reading this, for some strange inexplicable reason the term Fluster Cluck pops into my (so called) brain.

Not that I'm opposed to lower monthly cost and higher copays/deductibles as I think this would help drive down medical costs....

If O'care is going to drive down the monthly cost people pay, but then triple their out of pocket costs for use, you will probably find a lot of people signing up will get worse healthcare as they won't use if for minor stuff.

WSJ: ObamaCare Mission Accomplished

The system isn't working and the website isn't fixed.

Great news: The White House says that Healthcare.gov and the 36 federally run insurance exchanges are finally good to go. The only thing missing from Sunday's relentlessly upbeat progress report was President Obama in front of a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

Sunday's eight-page report was intended to meet Mr. Obama's deadline for fixing the site after its October 1 debut was a calamity. But the more important goal was politicalnamely, claiming enough progress to prevent Democrats on Capitol Hill from joining the GOP demand for delaying the individual mandate to buy insurance or even the entire program.

(Snip)

Our favorite line in the report is the HHS boast that "the team is operating with private sector velocity and effectiveness." That sure is a remarkable two-month turnaround for the same team that took three and half years to botch the initial launch at a cost of more than $1 billion, according to an analysis by Bloomberg Government.

If this miracle fix is real, the White House will open the ObamaCare black box to an independent audit, or maybe start by answering questions honestly. But on a conference call with reporters Sunday, HHS refused to say how much progress the team had made on technical problems that are seeding insurance companies with bad information about who is signing up and for what products. It knows the insurers will keep quiet lest they make themselves political targets.

Todays ObamacareFail News

Talking about damning with faint praise: today the tabula rasa folks over at Slate.com proudly announce that HealthCare.gov is no longer a total disaster. The story isnt exactly brimming with confidence:

But how fixed is it right now? Well have a better idea once we have the signup and enrollment numbers for December. But the Progress Report published by the administration on Sunday offers a couple of clues. The Progress Report is itself a good sign: While selective in what it presents, the information it offers is meaningful and relevant, and none of it seems blatantly fishy to me. This is a drastic change from anything the administration or the contractors were offering even a month ago, and they should get credit for making these numbers available (assuming theyre true).

Methinks they ought to be ready to change their site name to BlankSlate.com.

Meanwhile, Salon.coms Brian Beutler (Beutler? Beutler? Anyone. . .) thinks the drive for the repeal of Obamacare is officially dead. Officially?? What, did the Justice Department issue an official memo or something? Because I didnt get a copy. But if its officially over, well then well just have to shut up I guess. Because Salon.com has spoken.
