2536413Washington Examiner:

Two Republicans have announced plans to leave a bipartisan House group that's been working in secret to write a comprehensive immigration bill.

Texas Reps. John Carter and Sam Johnson say they can no longer be part of the effort because they don't trust President Obama to enforce any legislation they write.

It leaves Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida as the sole Republican with four Democrats in the group. It's the latest sign of the difficulties of reaching any deal on immigration.Scissors-32x32.png
