Fed-Up Saudis Look to Russia

Talk about a cry for help. The Saudis have apparently judged President Obama to be rudderless in his Middle East policies, judging by their recent diplomatic moves toward Russia: They appear to have plied Putin with a deal to collude in the global oil market, while also urging him to distance himself from Syrias Butcher Assad.

 

Rumors that Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia had met with Putin in July have been swirling about for weeks, but the Kremlin has now acknowledged that the meeting did in fact take place. Details of what was exactly discussed have been sparse so far, but now Lebanese newspaper As-Safir reports on specifics:

This is jaw-dropping stuff, to say the least. Nothing was signed in this closed-door meeting between Putin and BandarPutin requested time for both countries to look into the specifics of such a deal. But the mere fact that our allies felt like they needed to go this route signals that something is seriously awry in President Obamas Middle East approach.

Having extracted concessions from O-Bow-ma already [think the Canadian pipeline that may have to be built privately] and his fondness for Muslim Brother-Hoods [which the House of Saud does not like] which have penetrated the highest levels of the Executive Branch of the US Republic......maybe they're looking to "hedge their bets?" I firmly believe that other nations respond to power, implied or actual....and in that area the feckless dilettante metro-sexual socialist pResident comes up lacking in either, or destroying what existed.........

Yup... When Obumbler came into office he promised that we'd command a dramatically different place in the world than the one he "inherited".... That's about the only promise that he's totally delivered upon.

He has his XO's put before him, his speeches loaded on TOTUS and never takes questions from the media, unless a compact is signed....stating no hardball questions.
