Valin
C-SPAN John Douglas Hall portrayed President James Madison as if it were 1811. President Madison discussed events of the day including conflicts with France and England in shipping and trade, the national bank, and cabinet appointments. He responded to questions from members of the audience at Gadsbys Tavern, which was frequented by James Madison and other Founding Fathers. Valin
@Valin I take it that this was not quite like Zero's beer summits and other foot in the mouth meetings Well they they both were/are presidents, Males, and married. but I'm thinking after that the similarities start to drop off...rather sharply. What is fascinating is we are still talking/fighting about many of the same things.Taxes, Trade, Corruption, incompetence in high places, clashes of egos. Some things just don't change.
