Karen and Billy Vaughn are the parents of a fallen Navy Seal, Aaron Carson Vaughn. I met with the Vaughns when I spoke to a sold-out Tea Party event in Fort Lauderdale in June. The Vaughns are extraordinary heroes. Their courage to speak about Obama's crippling rules of engagement is to be applauded.

The Vaughns have exposed the delusional U.S. military "rules of engagement" policy that led to the takedown of a Chinook helicopter, Extortion 17, by the Taliban. All 38 people on board the Chinook -- 15 SEAL Team Six members (including Aaron Vaughn) and seven Afghan National Army commandos -- were killed. The attack on Extortion 17 came just three months after the Osama bin Laden kill, and both Obama and Biden had identified the team that took OBL out. Retribution was inevitable.

The Vaughns were also one of the families that released the video that revealed the incredible fact that military brass invited a Muslim cleric to their children's funeral in 2011 -- an imam who "damned to hell" our fallen soldiers, in line with Islamic doctrine for infidels. Video here.

Now Billy Vaughn and U.S. Army Major General (ret.) Paul Vallely have teamed up to write a shocking new book: Betrayed: Exposing the High Cost of the War on Terror (coming in August from Hugo House Publishers). It tells the story of how on August 6, 2011, Taliban jihadists ambushed Extortion 17 as it was transporting American forces to an area where Army Rangers were engaged in a firefight.

In the late 1340s the Black Plague swept through Europe, bringing with it an incalculable toll of human suffering & anguish, manifested in the deaths of an estimated 25 million people. This period in time has become immortalized throughout the documented archives of world history & human memory. Few today however could relate to such a distant era & its less contemporary accoutrements. If human beings of that age could see how human beings today live (with our advancements in science, medicine, & technology) superstition would undoubtedly trump their reason in the things they’d see which we take for granted with casual aplomb. Which brings me to my point.

 

I maintain that we of 21st Century North America are currently caught in the throes of our own epidemic. However, this particular modern day Black Plague is not contracted through rodents & their fleas in the form of a bacterial infection, but rather is incarnated by the symptoms of aberrant individuals & their adherence to a deviant political ideology. An ideology which poses a substantive threat to the life & vitality of our entire Nation & by extension to the security & well being of its population. A germ incubated & spread by the dissemination of diseased minds over decades which has manifested now in the very man presently occupying our White House!

 

However I’m not going to run through the entire litany of Barack Hussein Obama’s interminable lies, scandals, & brazenly corrupt lawlessness we’ve been overwhelmed by since his taking Office & the devastatingly oppressive toll exacted by this unqualified dilettante. Instead I’m going to focus on just one scandal. Not an “officially” recognized scandal (yet) or the latest to be sure, but potentially the greatest & most horrific of them all: Extortion 17.

Why shouldn't [Obama] be a communist and Muslim? Hasn't the State Department been packed to the rafters with communists, socialists, homosexual spies, Arabists, Muslims, founding members of the Muslim Brotherhood, et alia for decades? Hasn't Congress had more important things to do than investigate communist infiltration since the 1950s? Haven't both Congress and the Supreme Court degenerated into rubber stamps for the boundlessly secretive Executive branch? If the feral government as a whole can turn openly hostile to the Constitution, why not have a communist, complete with Mao Christmas tree ornaments, in the White House? If the once famous "free press" can devolve into the propaganda wing of the Democratic [sic] party, why shouldn't Saudi Arabia's hand-picked and carefully trained boy govern—in an admittedly loose sense of the term "govern"—by executive order?

If shoplifting becomes socially and legally acceptable, what's wrong with mugging? Is there any significant difference between individual muggers and gangs of armed robbers? If big city politicians openly depend on extortionists and narcotics gangsters for so-called "contributions," why not turn whole states into extortion operations, and why not ship illegally purchased firearms to Mexican narcotics cartels? If investment funds and "welfare" systems and military contracts and whole cities can be looted with impunity, why shouldn't the IRS become the Democratic [sic] party's dirty tricks bureau? If the feral government can import and welcome millions of illegal aliens, and even advertise for them with comic books in Mexico, why not order the F, the B, and the I to leave Islamic terrorists alone? If selected banks are too big to fail and chosen "green" fantasy companies receive millions in feral government "loans," why shouldn't NSA keep close tabls on the citizenry? The only difference between a little street crime and the Chicagoization of America is one of degree, not kind, so what difference, after all, does it make?

The feral government and several state governments have declared their independence from us, the people and our Constitution and the rule of law. Government has effectively seceded from America and gone its own way. It prints or borrows all the money it wants to squander instead of depending on our taxes. It enforces the laws it likes and ignores those it dislikes. It practices so-called "social justice" instead of paying any mind to legitimate justice. It's made a vile mockery of elections. It writes so-called "rules of engagement" to suit Islamic terrorist regimes, and hands billions in "foreign aid" to other terrorist regimes.

I have a hunch secession, by the time we get up off our duffs and make it happen, will amount to nothing more than acknowledging an accomplished fact.

Did Obama administration use Extortion 17 as a template for their Benghazi cover-up?

As the fires of public interest surrounding Obama’s prominent Benghazi scandal are being reported as receding by a loyally obsequious Sheep dog media, I dismiss this claim for the iconoclast drivel it is that we’ve come to expect from such an immodestly degenerate press. Speaking for myself, I haven’t observed noticeable recession of interest by anyone among the circles I travel in. If anything, interest has only become heightened with the emergence of yet another, even more abhorrent scandal we’re coming to know now as Extortion 17. A scandal indicating an even higher fatality rate than that of Benghazi, predating Benghazi by just over a year.
