There was an unexpected and heartwarming moment during a Nebraska spring scrimmage game when a seven-year-old boy suffering from brain cancer scored a touchdown. Jack Hoffman was given a No. 22 Huskers jersey and taken on to the field. The crowd roared as Jack sprinted 69 yards with the entire football team running with him.

Jack summed it up in three words: “It was awesome.”
