Geee
Human Events: Why is the media covering this as if it were a question? It’s never too early to run for president. And Hillary Clinton has been running for president since 1993. So unless health or age issues get in her way, you and I both know there’s no way she’s sitting out 2016. Here are five of the most obvious reasons: 1 – There’s no one in the Democratic Party who possesses her abilities or her name recognition; certainly, no one who can marshal the kind of heavy hitters and money needed to pull it off. There’s no charismatic upstart to trip her up. Andrew Cuomo? Martin O’Malley? Elizabeth Warren? John Hickenlooper? Joe Biden? There’s no Barack Obama in sight. Today we learned that James Carville has joined efforts to start raising money. “He is the first of several heavy hitters who will be rolled out by Ready for Hillary PAC,” a Clinton-backer told the Washington Post. There are three other PACs already raising funds for Hillary. 2- She’s really popular. Last poll I could dig up measuring her approval rating was from Quinnipiac University earlier this year. In it, Clinton had a 61 percent approval rating among voters with a 34 percent unfavorable rating. And this survey was conducted after the Benghazi controversy. Obviously, that number deflates once partisan politics takes hold of us, but what other candidate has that kind of head start? And what kind of politician wouldn’t look at those numbers and feel embolden to run?

Geee
Hillary’s active life as a private citizen Hillary Clinton's first two months as a private citizen have been decidedly public. Since leaving the State Department, Clinton has released a video to announce her support for gay marriage and signed a contract to write a new book about her years at Foggy Bottom that will lead to a book tour next year. She’s established a transition office in downtown Washington and hailed Vice President Biden from the stage of the Kennedy Center. She has two more paid speeches coming up, in Texas and Colorado. She’s also watched on as a new political action committee was formally launched to urge her to run for the White House in 2016. On Thursday, longtime Clinton confidante James Carville sent an email to supporters asking that they back the new PAC. The last two months give a glimpse of what the next two years will be like for Clinton, who polls show is easily the favorite to succeed President Obama as the Democratic Party’s choice for president. Every move made by the former secretary of state and her closest advisers is closely observed for any clues it might give on her future plans. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/291959-hillarys-active-live-as-a-private-citizen

I get more concerned daily, that she will be our next president. She's got a couple of problems.... "It is very rare that one party hold the White House for more than 2 terms." Some Skinny Old White Guy As you recall she is not that good of a campaigner. Remember the phoney laugh? She'll be (?)70 running against a much younger person. Of course people are "slobbering all over her", these are the same people who were slobbering in 2007...how did that work out? It's still a long time till 2016, and one thing I can say with confidence....the situation will be very different in 2016 than it is in 2013. Casino67
If the Barrett Report ever sees the light of day, it will sink whatever plans she may have. The Report detailed how Henry Cisneros used campaign funds illegitimately and how the Clintons helped cover up his transgressions. The IRS was used and abused with the Clinton's hands firmly on their necks to cover up. The courts and Dem politicians successfully got the report redacted and hidden from the public. Bing it. Geee
Can We Get Hillary Without the Foolery? - Maureen Dowd It’s such a silly question. Of course Hillary is running. I’ve never met a man who was told he could be president who didn’t want to be president. So naturally, a woman who’s told she can be the first commandress in chief wants to be. “Running for president is like sex,” James Carville told me. “No one ever did it once and forgot about it.” Joe Biden wants the job. He’s human (very). But he’s a realist. He knows the Democratic Party has a messianic urge to finish what it started so spectacularly with the election of Barack Obama — busting up the world’s most exclusive white-bread old-boys’ club. And he knows that women, both Democratic and Republican, want to see one of their own in the White House and became even more militant while listening to the G.O.P.’s retrogressive talk about contraception and vaginal probes last year. Also, Joe genuinely likes Hillary. These two have no appetite for tearing each other apart. As long as there are no more health scares — the thick glasses are gone — Hillary’s age won’t stop her. The Clinton scandals and dysfunction are in the rearview mirror at the moment, and the sluggish economy casts a halcyon glow on the Clinton era. Hillary is a symbol and a survivor, running on sainthood. Ronald Reagan, elected at 69, was seen as an “ancient king” gliding through life, as an aide put it. Hillary, who would be elected at 69, would be seen as an ancient queen striding through life. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/07/opinion/sunday/dowd-can-we-get-hillary-without-the-foolery.html?_r=1&
Geee
Ickes, longtime Clinton supporter, advising pro-Hillary super-PAC Harold Ickes, a top Democratic fundraiser and longtime Clinton supporter, is advising a pro-Hillary Clinton super-PAC in preparation for her potential presidential run in 2016. Ickes told the Sunday Times that he's on board with the Ready for Hillary super-PAC, which was launched earlier, independent of Clinton, to begin to build an operation for her potential run. He also said he's been in touch with Clinton donors who want her to run. "These are people I know who have told me over the years that they and a lot of other people want her to run. They don't have any idea what she's going to do, but if she runs they want to be ready to give whatever assistance they can," he said. Ickes, who served as then-President Bill Clinton's deputy chief of staff, joins Democratic strategist James Carville in backing the new super-PAC. Carville recently lent his name to a fundraising pitch sent out by the group. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/292229-ickes-longtime-clinton-supporter-advising-pro-hillary-super-pac ______________________________________________________________________________ I had forgotten about this evil man, although I am sure he has been doing his dirty work in the background somewhere(I believe with one of Soros groups). Geee
He doesn't need a job. He has several: In 1999, Ickes was appointed Hillary Clinton’s chief campaign advisor in her 2000 run for the U.S. Senate. According to Ickes, he accepted the job after a four-hour meeting with Mrs. Clinton on February 12, 1999 -- the same day that the U.S. Senate voted on Bill Clinton's impeachment. "I'm really doing this out of my friendship for Hillary, pure and simple," Ickes told the Associated Press on June 17, 1999. "She called and there was no way I was going to say no to Hillary." Following Mrs. Clinton's successful election, Ickes played a central role in creating the Democrat Shadow Party. After passage of the McCain-Feingold Act of March 27, 2002, Ickes helped put Shadow Party architect George Soros together with activists Andrew Stern, Ellen R. Malcolm, Steven Rosenthal, Gina Glantz, Cecile Richards, and other leftwing Democrats who were seeking ways to circumvent McCain-Feingold's soft-money ban. Working closely with Soros, Ickes personally helped launch six of the seven organizations that formed the Shadow Party’s core during the 2004 election, including America Coming Together, America Votes, the Center for American Progress, Joint Victory Campaign 2004, the Media Fund, and the Thunder Road Group. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=1624

I have no faith that anything will bring her down. Edited to add: I see that the report costs us 23 million to produce and was finished in 2006 and still has not been released - sigh.
