Casino67
CNN.com: President Obama greets Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts before the State of the Union address on February 12 Editor's note: Jeffrey Toobin is CNN senior legal analyst and author of "The Oath: The Obama White House and the Supreme Court." (CNN) -- After two days of tense arguments in the Supreme Court over same-sex marriage, we don't know for certain how the justices will rule on either California's Proposition 8 or the Defense of Marriage Act. But we did see -- over and over -- Chief Justice John G. Roberts' irritation with and contempt for the Obama administration. Roberts' attitude was manifest on both days, and it was directed at Donald Verrilli, the solicitor general. The chief justice wasn't complaining about Verrilli's performance, but rather about the Obama administration policies the solicitor general was trying to defend. Jeffrey Toobin Verrilli took a peculiar position in the Prop 8 case. He focused on the eight states, including California, that have civil unions that offer gays and lesbians equivalent rights to marriage. Verrilli said those states violated the equal protection clause, because the only reason they denied same-sex couples the word "marriage" had to be out of hostility toward them. 5 things we learned from oral arguments

Of course I mean (and nothing saddens me more) Racisim.

Obvious question a Republican becomes AG and announces his DOJ will no longer defend Roe v Wade? A Libertarian administration comes into power and announces they will no longer defend federal drug laws?

Could dereliction of duty be a reason for impeachment? Could the minority party ever get it through Congress? Could it be another question for SCOTUS to answer? Could it ever get to the SCOTUS? Elections have consequences, eh?

Elections have consequences, eh? I wish I could give you a quick and easy answer. Here's the problem, these folks (Obamaites and sad to say the modern Democratic Party) are True Believers. They really don't think the Laws really apply to them. Back in the day I knew these people, or people like them. I recommend Liberal Fascism; The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Change To really understand these people this is a Must Read.
