Casino67
Telegraph.co.uk: They fear that nerve agents and chemical weapons held by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad’s regime could fall into terrorists’ hands if the government collapses entirely. Senior officers have also held talks on a range of “rogue state” contingency plans to prevent chemical, biological or nuclear weapons from being seized by terrorists, which they fear could also happen if Pakistan or North Korea’s regimes were to collapse. Iran, which according to one senior British source is “bent on developing nuclear weapons”, is also causing great concern to western governments. British intelligence believes Syria has amassed an extensive arsenal of WMD including nerve agents such as Sarin – one of the most deadly weapons ever created – and chemical weapons such as mustard gas. They have so far not been used and are currently considered to be well guarded by the Syrian security forces.

Bush, Iraq, Saddam Hussein February 25, 2003 President George W. Bush's Exchange With Reporters: I'll be glad to take some questions. Let me start off with Angle [Jim Angle, FOX News]. Iraqi Disarmament/Risks of War Q. Mr. President, what would it take at this point to avoid a war with Iraq? The President. Full disarmament. Q. Could you expand on that, sir? I mean, what—— The President. Well, there's only one thing. There's full disarmament. The man has been told to disarm. For the sake of peace, he must completely disarm. I suspect we'll see him playing games, that he will—the world will say disarm, and he will all of a sudden find a weapon that he claimed he didn't have. http://www.commandposts.com/2013/02/february-25-2003%e2%80%94president-bush-perhaps-the-biggest-risk-in-the-theater-if-we-were-to-commit-our-troops-is-saddam-himself/
