For those that remember this video....here is the latest.

The Examiner has learned that Dr. Barbara Bellar, whose video of a speech she gave against ObamaCare went viral, has been fired by the medical center at which she worked, MetroSouth Medical Center of Chicago, Ill.

Bellar served as chair of the ethics committee at MetroSouth.

The hospital has refused to comment on the firing, citing confidentiality in personnel matters. But when Bellar asked for a meeting with management, she states that the powers that be failed to give her a definitive answer as to why her contract was not renewed.

Bellar says that she can only assume, then, that losing her job was connected to her viral video in which she blasted President Obama and Democrats in Congress for foisting on the public the monstrosity that has come to be known as "ObamaCare."

NY Times Spin Alert

Hillary getting thrown under the bus.

That was interesting, not knowing anything about her. She maybe deserves more respect than she is getting right now.

Rice? If nothing else as far as Benghazi goes she is either a liar or a fool, either way she should not be Sec State....or anything else.

I am impressed with her resume and the fact that she is spunky. But you know that I am a woman with little understanding of all things political, which is why I follow the posts and comments here.

Great perspective, but perhaps too late for our country

From Prague, The Perfect Quote:

Occasionally people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that can be quickly understood; this quote - from the Czech Republic. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper, Prager Zeitungon

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president."

I hope those Norwegain whalers don't go out there and kill it. They have a life-sized statue/sculpture glorifying their whaling history, somewhere in Oslo, I think. Norwegian friends we were visiting many years ago made Mr.n. and me pose in front of it while they proundly took our picture. I hated it.

11/19/12 10:14 AM

Attorneys for Allen West are reviewing data from Sunday's recount to determine if any action should be taken.

Representatives from West's campaign said St. Lucie county election workers did not finishing counting the votes on time to meet the states deadline at noon.

After the recount, results showed Patrick Murphy picked up 274 more votes and won with a total of 65,841 votes.
