Although Hallmark has yet to create an official greeting card (it does, however, have this), others have hopped mightily on the caffeinated bandwagon. It might be a good idea, too. According to a report from the National Coffee Association, coffee consumption is up 7 percent from 2011. A study from the “New England Journal of Medicine” tracked the health of more than 400,000 older adults for nearly 14 years. Coffee drinkers were less likely to die during the study than those who didn’t drink it. The study also found that men and women who averaged four or five cups of Joe per day had the lowest risk of death. On this buzz worthy day, many coffee companies, bakeries, fast-food chains and convenience stores have great deals all day long. Some are free; others require coupons or purchases.
