NCTexan
We sometimes do an appetizer using the little filo cups from the frozen section, a cube of Danish blue cheese in the cup with a slice of fig on top. Just put them in the oven for a couple minutes until the cups are browned and the cheese slightly melted. The contrast of salty and sweet... along with creamy smooth and crunchy is always a hit.

We are having people over tomorrow and I am going to try those. If I can find figs. Never looked before. Guess if all fails I can scoop the fig out a Fig Newton. ha
