North Carolina Democrat Party Considers Anti-Israel Resolution

June 19, 2012 – 9:07 am

I’m sure no one is surprised nor shocked by the blatant anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian terrorist leanings of the NCDP

(Daily Caller) The North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP) is seriously considering passing a resolution that would criticize Israel for its “illegal occupation” of Palestine, the latest in a long line of controversial moves coming out of one of the major battleground states President Barack Obama’s team is banking on to win re-election.

The resolution didn’t pass at this weekend’s NCDP state convention, but was tabled and referred to the executive committee for further consideration later. It attacks the United States for providing Israel with “$3 billion annually in military aid,” while the “Israeli occupation, disenfranchisement and impoverishment of significant numbers of the Palestinian population, and Israel’s overwhelming military might and its role as the only nuclear power threaten stability in a region witnessing increased demands for democracy and an end to autocratic rule.”

Apparently, those voting probably realized that this would look bad, but rather than dump it, they are going to keep it around and try again. It says something about the anti-Israel leanings of Democrats that they even Scissors-32x32.png Read More http://www.thepiratescove.us/2012/06/19/north-carolina-democrat-party-considers-anti-israel-resolution/

Perhaps the NCDP should focus on issues in North Carolina.

Or are they trying to deflect attention away from their own mistakes in North Carolina?

I say... NC DEMs..... BRING IT ON!

They ignore the fact that two months ago the Gay Marriage bill went down in flames by 62% to 38%. This was with much DEM party advertising and support.

They also forget that the majority of the folks in the state are pretty traditional and have not moved to the far left like the current party leadership.

FLASHBACK

Senator Barack Obama has won North Carolina, according to a New York Times analysis.

Mr. Obama’s slight lead of about .2 percentage points over Senator John McCain has expanded over the last several hours to .4 percent, prompting several news organizations to declare him the winner.

The total shows 49.9 percent for Mr. Obama to 49.5 percent for Mr. McCain.

That was when the black and youth population was highly charged to get out and vote. It was also when all those not paying attention took Barry for his word as being a moderate DEM.

Here's the latest on the NC DEMs self immolation...

There's a bill for a $70m toll road project currently in front of the NC House.

Last week when the House was meeting on the budget... the Sec. of Transportation sent a letter to DEM Gov. Bev Perdue saying that funding was not needed until 2014.

It has come to light that Perdue's staff (with her knowledge) altered the letter to say that funding was needed in 2013 and forged the Sec. of Transportation's signature... then sent the forged letter to the House before the vote.

The GOP candidate for governor has called for a SBI (State Bureau of Investigation) criminal investigation.

Here's how the Raleigh News & Observer tried to down play it this morning.

N&O

Top state transportation official calls altered letters 'flat wrong'

N.C. Department of Transportation Chief Operating Officer Jim Trogdon told an investigative Senate panel Wednesday that altered letters sent under his name were not correct and were the result of pressure from Gov. Bev Perdue's office.

Trogdon said he worked quickly to correct the problem as soon as he learned of it. He later told reporters what happened was "flat wrong."

The Senate Rules Committee's inquiry into the letters said it will hear from the governor's office Thursday.

The wheels are coming off the DEM wagon!

Their little plan for a 2013 slush fund was exposed.
