big-bad-battle-for-the-south-in-alabama-and-mississippi-sticky-results-postPJ Tatler: Chuck Norris fact: He doesn’t even need a robocall system to generate votes for Newt Gingrich.

The Newt is making a stand in two southern states, but while he has Norris on his side, he’s battling Mitt Romney and Jeff Foxworthy. You might be a Romney voter if… Pat Boone is going heavy metal for Rick Santorum. It’s crazy, but hey, that’s how it goes.

Mississippi results here. Alabama results here. Hawaii (caucus) results here.

I am finding the regionality of this race really fascinating. I can't remember it being that way for a long time, but perhaps I just wasn't paying attention.

Well so far Rick has proven all the pundits wrong.

Newt is going to spin this as a good night...but it wasn't. He had to win one of these.

He's counting on Texas, so he won't be getting out before then.

Newt is definitely hitting us (Texas) with ads. Hear them a couple of times every time I'm out driving.
