Draggingtree
Khou: Community leaders protest Texas voter ID law by khou.com staff http://www.khou.com/news Posted on March 11, 2012 at 10:33 PM HOUSTON—Community members hit the streets of Houston Sunday, to protest the state’s new voter identification law. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and local pastors led the rally at Christian Hope Baptist Church in the Third Ward. They’re opposed to a new law that says Texans must show a photo ID to cast their ballot. Supporters say it’s to prevent voter fraud, but pastors say, that just doesn’t make sense. Similar legislation has also passed in other states. The Justice department is expected to rule Monday on whether the Texas voter ID law violates federal law. Pepper
This lessens the chance for voter fraud, hence the Democratic concerns. It cuts into their columns.
Draggingtree
Well I was not surprised Needless to say the Justice Department is not a friend of Texas or the rule of law, in 2008 Supreme Court upheld Indiana’s voter-identification law. Detroit man shot (later died) over condoms maybe Fluke was right the cost is too high. Ops man was shop at a B P gas station.
