Valin
Weekly Standard: JEFFREY H. ANDERSON1/10/12The latest Kaiser Health Tracking Poll shows that, since the survey taken in the first month after Obamacare’s passage, the gap between those who like Obamacare and those who dislike it has swung 8 percentage points against the health care overhaul. Kaiser is an outlier poll, consistently showing greater support for Obamacare than can be found nearly anywhere else. Yet even Kaiser’s polling now shows that only 41 percent of Americans support President Obama’s signature legislation. Even that 41-percent tally, however, is driven overwhelmingly by support from Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters. Among independents who don’t lean toward either party, only 29 percent support Obamacare — a remarkable figure. Among Republican-leaning independents, only 11 percent support Obamacare. Moreover, among seniors (from across the political spectrum), only 31 percent support Obamacare.(Snip)

Well duh! Nobody knew what was in "it" when they were asked if they liked "it" initially. Now that some facts have come out and folks have had time to get beyond the "feel good" rhetoric... most folks have now figured we were sold a pig in a poke. The interesting thing of this for me is Kaiser is evidently a democrat leaning poll (like PPP), and Obamacare is not well thought of in this poll, "The One" is in trouble. Of course I don't think he cares, he came in knowing what he wanted to do and he rammed it through in spite of polls showing he didn't want it. Remember what this was all about at the start...14%(?) of Americans didn't have health insurance. He came in looking for a legacy.
