Geee
Chicago Tribune:With the political focus on the Republican presidential nomination early next month, President Barack Obama will return to his hometown on Jan. 11 to host a series of fundraisers, Democratic campaign aides said today. No details were immediately available about his fundraising schedule, but Obama has the advantage of being able to raise money for his re-election while a fluid Republican race forces his potential challengers to spend money on Iowa’s Jan. 3 caucuses and the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary a week later.Obama’s re-election campaign is based in Chicago and he has traditionally used the city to host high-dollar fundraising events.
