Geee
Washington Examiner:President Obama's campaign operation hit upon a new fundraising pitch "this holiday season," as they've asked supporters to make a campaign donation "inspired" by somebody else."This holiday season," Obama's campaign announced today, "you can give to the 2012 campaign because of someone else—maybe a friend or family member." If you donate in the name of a loved one, the campaign will "send them a message letting them know they inspired you to donate."For those of you who aren't inspired to donate by someone else, Obama provides a self-interested hook. "Important: By making a donation today, you'll be automatically entered for a chance to have dinner with Barack and Michele Obama," the campaign says. The First Lady, famous for her Healthy Foods Initiative, confirmed to some children at Children's National Medical Center that at Christmas, the Obamas have "lots of pie" because "the President loves pie." That could be good.
