FOX News reports: Five GOP candidates, including Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Jon Huntsman, and Herman Cain are boycotting the Univision Republican debate scheduled to take place in January as a response to a controversy surrounding Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

Univision was planning to run a story about Rubio’s brother-in-law, who was convicted of drug trafficking back in 1987. Rubio claims that Univision directors called him and offered to soften or scrap the story if he’d grant them an interview. The network ended up airing the story.
