FALLS CHURCH, Va. (WUSA) -- The husband of a Falls Church City Council member has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing three girls.

Michael Gardner, 47, is charged with two felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of object sexual penetration after alleged incidents over the weekend.

Court documents state his victims are females all under the age of 13.
