Chris Christie is going to give a speech in Iowa, but not as a presidential candidate as a group of high-powered Republicans had hoped.Christie, a popular governor in GOP circles who has been asked repeatedly to run for president, hosted the Iowa group last night for a dinner of chicken, rib eye and sweet corn. The Iowa Republicans flew to New Jersey with the idea of drafting Christie to run, but the governor stuck to his "thanks, but no thanks" mantra.------Not really exciting news, but not much going on today.
