Pepper
Time Magazine - Mark Halperin:Five Mistakes the Obama Administration Has Made in the Aftermath of Bin Laden KillingBy MARK HALPERIN – 53 mins agoAftermath can be heck. The White House's brilliant conceptualization and execution of the plan to bring Osama bin Laden to justice has, in the last 48 hours, been complicated by mistakes. No one can question the heroism of the US military, the doggedness of the intelligence community, or the cajones of the President in making the call. But the administration has since made real errors, some with political costs, some with substantive costs, and some with both. (See pictures of Osama bin Laden's Pakistan hideaway.)The major errors so far:1. Not getting its story straight: 2. Not giving George W. Bush enough credit 3. Letting the photo debate get out of control:MORE SeeFive Mistakes the Obama Administration Has Made in the Aftermath of Bin Laden KillingNOTETwo errors in Halperin's story. One minor, one major fail."the cajones of the President in making the call." cajones is misspelled. It is cojones. And the President has none. It turned out to be Petraeus and ultimately Panetta who had the cojones to make the call.

SrWoodchuck
Breaking News: In a stunning night raid on a second floor White House office, a team of hardened WH insiders, under the joint command of the CIA & the State Department......retrieved Barack Hussein Obama's cojones from where they had been kept hostage for years; by a Chicago shrew & slumlord. The timely assault allowed the killing of one of America's most elusive enemies. [No, not Nancy Pelosi] His cojones will now be kept in a secure location, away from the president, so that any further strategic action will not be hampered by their lack of accessibility. Michelle Obama will not be given access.....as she has repeatedly noted their abscence & lack of utility. After Obama's retirement in 2012, they will be donated to the Smithsonian, where they may be viewed in a wall exhibit next to the very large room that will contain his stuffed ego. Pepper
pollyannaish IMO, other than the officer at the laptop who is busy, Gates seems to understand the risk that the men are undertaking at the whim of The Won.
