Rock star Phil Collins' daughter Lily Collins to star as Snow White opposite Julia Roberts

Phil Collins apologised recently for his success, saying the overplaying of his music had made "people want to strangle" him.

The ageing rocker may soon feel the need to beg forgiveness for the achievements of his daughter, Lily Collins, as Mandrake can disclose that she is being lined up to play Snow White in a big-budget Hollywood film starring Julia Roberts.

"She is absolutely thrilled," says a friend of the 22-year-old actress. "Her daddy will be equally excited."
