Below is an article about an interview that started a bit of a firestorm in the media...pitting Senator Santorum against Gov Palin. Is this fair to both Santorum and Palin? You read below and tell me what you think about this journalism. My notes are in blue. I write this because fairness matters. We in journalism all make mistakes and it is important to strive to do better. There is a big difference between facts and imagination.

By the way, we had Senator Santorum ON THE RECORD at 10pm last night to discuss this article and the fueled controversy. He pointed out that Politico NEVER phoned him to ask him about what he said and what he meant. Perhaps if Politico had called Senator Santorum the article would have been written differently and not created the media firestorm.
