Key Republicans are embracing a major spending initiative outlined in President Obama's State of the Union address.

 

Two top members of the House Transportation Committee said they will push the president's initiative seeking to give 80 percent of Americans access to high-speed rail over te course of the next 25 years. snip

With the Republican leadership proposing defunding AMTRAK as part of their spending cuts, I would say that these two fellows are out of the loop.

Well, since high speed internet access is in the Basket of Individual Freedoms

then certainly access to high speed rail is as fundamental as Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness

One more year of Barry and I'll be a "basket" case

So...
