Mediaite.com:

It’s very early in his tenure, but House Speaker John Boehner is already garnering high praise from the far reaches of the other side of the aisle. Colleague Democrat Rep. Dennis Kucinich may not agree with his policies, but he lauded the “really good tone” Speaker Boehner was setting in Congress on MSNBC, openly disagreeing with host Ed Schultz.

Schultz introduced his interview with the liberal congressman by criticizing the Republican leadership for having a “post-Tucson mentality” and attempting to bury the issues that the left cares about under the weight of last week’s tragedy. But when he asked Rep. Kucinich to evaluate the new Speaker’s mode of operation in relating with all the members of Congress, Kucinich sheepishly but steadfastly gave Boehner good words. He told Schultz:

“I love you and I think you’re one of the most passionate defenders of the people in the media. But, you know, John Boehner, I think, has set a really good tone. He really rose to the occasion in a way that I suppose surprised people. but I’ve known john a long time and I think that he has been really statesmanlike in the way that he has responded to the tragedy in Arizona.”

I gained a little respect for Dennis. He just wouldn't go where Schultzy wanted to go.

Isn't this the guy that might lose his seat from the redistricting? I know Kookinich is beloved by the far left, bet he wants *us* all to sit together for the SOTU speech, too. They're thinking about running this loon as a primary challenger in 2012.

Dennis the Menace is the Ron Paul of the Left. He'll challenge Obambi in the Primaries next year irregardless of whether or not the RATS try to redistrict him out of office.

Most of what he says is loony, but now and then, he hits one straight down the fairway, like he did with Boehner.

He's not known as Crazy Ed Schultz for nothing.

I remember listen to him in the 70's-80's in Fargo....he was center right.

What I'm saying is He's a PHONY. A FRAUD. Someone who will say anything to get ahead. IMO the reason he went Left was Rush Limbaugh, he thought he should be as big as Rush.

Could we trade him for Michael Savage? Wait. Can we just give away Michael Savage?

The fact that Savage is NOT getting any of the blame for the Tuscon shootings has to be killing him. :lmfao:
