Representative interrupted by birther during reading of Constitution

A member of the public who doesn’t believe President Barack Obama

was born in the United States and therefore eligible to be president briefly interrupted the reading of the Constitution by House members Thursday.

 

The incident occurred while Democratic New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone was reading Article Two, Section 1 of the Constitution, which explains the citizenship requirements for U.S. president, on the House floor. The section states: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”

Boehner reacts to birther outburst

 

The state of Hawaii has said that President Obama was born there. That's good enough for me

 

When asked if he would relay this message to the GOP members who have reservations, he had this to say:

 

People come, regardless of party labels, they come with all kinds of beliefs and ideas. Uh it's, it's the melting pot of America. It's not up to me to tell them what to think.

The woman who was removed is Theresa Cao, an oriental woman that supports the LT. Col. that was recently removed from service because of his "Birther" beliefs.

 

There is an ever growing gap between not only fact versus reality in DC, but perceived common sense and fact versus reality. When simple, ordinary people perceive that DC operates out of the realm of reality........you're going to have them angry & demanding change. or at least attention. Although "Birthers" are made out to be fringe elements & nuts, by the Lame Stream Media; they are only the tip of an "iceberg" that the Obama Titanic is dismissing. Their root suspicions should be put front & center, followed by the immediate release of all the "secret" records [including long form birth certificate, passports used, school records] of Fearless Leader.
