Bush on Wednesday night after a car unexpectedly drove on their front yard.A source told WFAA that both Bush and former first lady Laura Bush were in their Daria Place home when the incident happened around 8 o'clock.A Bush spokesman said that he and former first lady Laura Bush were "OK."A man was detained; it was unclear whether he would be facing any charges. It was also unknown whether the vehicle was intentionally driven on the lawn or whether the gas pedal got stuck.//Apparently a Toyota?//The Bush residence is one of several located behind a gated security barrier. The WFAA source said the detained man had gained entrance to the street to attend a party at a neighbor's home.The Secret Service told police the situation was still "under investigation," and they could provide no further information.A wrecker was observed driving through the gates leading to the Bush residence.In a written statement, the Bush spokesman offered thanks to the Secret Service and Dallas police in responding to the incident.The security gate, at Daria Drive and Meaders Lane, was installed last year to keep curiosity-seekers from driving through the former president's neighborhood.//end// Video at site adds nothing to story.
