ISAF captures suicide attack facilitator operating from Pakistan

As noted in yesterday's post on Pakistan rejecting a US push to expand strikes into Baluchistan province, there is a good reason for the US wanting to do so. Pakistani border cities like Chaman remain command and control centers for al Qaeda and the Taliban. Just yesterday, ISAF captured a suicide attack facilitator in Spin Boldak in Kandahar who operates from Chaman. From the ISAF press release:

Afghan and coalition forces detained a key Taliban suicide-bomber facilitator during an operation in the Spin Boldak District of Kandahar province yesterday.

The targeted individual is responsible for transporting suicide bombers and materials from Chaman, Pakistan, into Kandahar City with the intent to facilitate suicide attacks in the surrounding area.

Although it would be uncharitable, I hope that the "detainment" is at least slightly painful.
