RASMUSSEN:

Democrat Chris Coons holds an 11-point lead over Republican Christine O’Donnell in Delaware’s U.S. Senate race following the candidates’ debate Wednesday night.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Delaware shows Coons earning 51% of the vote, while O’Donnell draws 40% support. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The contest remains Solid Democrat in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

I think Coons' fate was resolved today with the visit of zero and a half zero. I have only talked to a couple of local D's here, but they don't want to talk about him now. One is an LPN who told me prior to the election that she always got a lot of work when a D was in office. She is sitting at home a lot now. And the other one is one of those 99'ers. The silence is deafening.

I guess the result depends on whether the disgruntled voters will show up at the polls. The GOP is highly motivated.

Personally, if I was 'disgruntled', I would stay home.

If Christine O'Donnell is doing so terribly, why does the President have to help him?

BINGO!

She isn't doing badly at all.

According to Rush she cut the lead from 20% to 11% in one day.

Zero is there because they are in trouble.

I would love to see this one happen, not to just win the seat but to show all of these Republican insiders that THEY WERE DEAD WRONG!!!!

They suggested on FNC it's because Delaware is the only state where Obama wouldn't hurt the Dem candidate. I guess we will all find out on election day. 11 points is a lot to overcome and Rasmussen is pretty reliable. A lot of times the weather can even play a role as to whether or not people want to go out in a storm. The GOP will be there but will the Dems?

Casino67!

Does that mean it's better for O'Donnell voters to be 'gruntled' now?
