IRGC threatens strikes on U.S. interests 'outside the region' if attacked

A senior official of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, the hardline terrorist element now dominant within the Iranian regime, threatened to attack U.S. interests in the event of any military action against Iranian nuclear facilities.

"In case of any illogical move, the Islamic Republic's hands and advocates will be powerfully activated against the interests of the hegemonic system and U.S. bases outside the region," IRGC Politburo Chief General Yadollah Javani said Aug. 22.

 

“If Americans make a strategic mistake and choose the military option against the Islamic Republic and our nation's interests, Iran will not confine its defense to the region," Javani said.
