Ohio’s Democratic Senate candidate, Lee Fisher, sat down with Joe Hallett for a piece in the Columbus Dispatch:

While sipping coffee last week, Lee Fisher was asked about his reputation as a demanding micromanager who already had lost top members of his Democratic Senate campaign team.

“Uh-oh,” Fisher said, nodding toward his new campaign manager, Lynne Bowman. “Don’t tell her that.”

Minutes later, Fisher was reminded that his Republican opponent, former U.S. Rep. Rob Portman, had $8.8 million in the bank compared to his $1.3 million.

“Which is why I want you to pay for the coffee,” Fisher said.
