Geee
Washington Examiner:Races to watch: Republicans lead for Wisc. governorBy: DAVID FREDDOSOOnline Opinion Editor05/28/10 11:34 AM EDTYesterday’s Rasmussen poll has Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker, R, leading Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in the race for governor, 48 to 41 percent. Walker won the GOP endorsement at convention. Mark Neumann, his primary opponent, has a narrow two-point lead over Barrett.I alluded briefly to the importance of this race the other day because it has serious implications for redistricting. Democrats hold narrow majorities in both the state House and Senate, and both are considered in peril. If Republicans win all three, they will draw the Congressional Districts for the next five cycles.
Geee
This is great because we have trouble getting any Republican elected for anything in a statewide election in this state, especially with the voter fraud in liberal Milwaukee and the votes of liberal Madison. Scott Walker is a conservative who when elected Milwaukee County Executive got left a real mess financially. He made all the hard decisions to cut cut cut and didn't raise taxes to get out of i even with the recession hitting him in the last couple of years. Milwaukee county would have been in worse shape when the recession hit if he hadn't started to improve its financial situation years before.
