Hezbollah Fires 35 Rockets at Israel as Passover Begins

On Monday evening, the Hezbollah terrorist organization deployed a rocket bombardment against northern Israel as residents were celebrating the Passover holiday. No casualties were reported during the incident.

Israeli defense officials announced that approximately 35 Katyusha missiles entered the country’s airspace in the area of the Ein Zeitim municipality.

In response to the altercation, the IDF stated that they had conducted airstrikes against the launch site and two military buildings where the terror group was said to be operating in southern Lebanon.

A statement from the Tehran-backed militants said their intended target was “the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Brigade of the 91st Division at Ein Zeitim Base.”

The incursion came shortly after Hezbollah reportedly shot down an Israeli military drone on the Lebanese side of the border.
