A Hezbollah drone and missile attack on an Israeli Bedouin border village near Lebanon on Wednesday injured 18 people, the Israel Defense Forces said, one day after Israel killed two Hezbollah operatives in a targeted strike.

Six soldiers in the village of Arab al-Aramshe were seriously wounded, two are in moderate condition and six more are lightly hurt, according to the Times of Israel, citing the IDF.

In total, 18 people, including the 14 soldiers, were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Hezbollah, an Iran-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon, launched the attack after the IDF claimed responsibility for a strike that killed Muhammad Shahouri, a commander in Hezbollah's rocket and missile unit, and Mahmoud Fadlallah, an operative in the unit.
