Geee Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 Just the News Louis Gossett Jr., the first black man to win an Oscar for supporting actor, has died. He was 87 A family member of Gossett told The Associated Press the actor died Thursday night in Santa Monica, California. The cause of death has yet to be made public. Gossett won the Oscar in 1983.
