Elon Musk has revealed that X Corp will be filing a "thermonuclear lawsuit" against Media Matters for America after the infamous leftist organization published a story that attempted to undermine freedom of speech as well as deceive advertisers, according to Musk.

"The split second court opens on Monday, X Corp will be filing a thermonuclear lawsuit against Media Matters and ALL those who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company," Musk posted on X, attaching a document entitled, "Stand with X to protect free speech."

"This week, Media Matters for America posted a story that completely misrepresented the real user experience on X, in another attempt to undermine freedom of speech and mislead advertisers," the document begins. :snip:

Media conglomerate sued for blatant discrimination against whites
George Floyd hysteria will be no defense
Paul Mirengoff
Nov 18, 2023

Five former employees of Gannett, the newspaper publishing giant, have filed a class action suit alleging that the company has systematically discriminated against white employees. The discrimination consists of firing white employees and denying them opportunities for advancement in order to favor less-qualified minority candidates. That’s against the law.

According to the complaint, in 2020 Gannett established a company-wide policy of quota hiring and promotion. By 2025, Gannett intended that employment at all of its publications would reflect the racial and ethnic demographics in the community the newspapers cover — not the demographics of the job applicant pool.

Even quotas based on group representation in the applicant pool are unlawful if meeting them entails favoring less-qualified applicants over more-qualified ones. But, as noted, Gannett allegedly went one step further by pegging its quotas to the demographics of the local community.

The problem, of course, is that the minority representation in the pool of qualified newspaper reporters in a locality may be much lower than minority representation in the population. If so, then the quota will almost certainly result in preferring less qualified minority group members for these jobs.

Understandable or not, Gannett’s imposition of quotas was that company’s response to Floyd’s death. Nor was Gannett the only firm that responded by implementing or expanding racial preferences. As the Post says:

In the wake of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of Minneapolis police in May 2020, Gannett was among scores of corporate giants that made sweeping commitments to increase workforce diversity.

Now, the chickens are coming home to roost. Scores of corporate giants will have to defend policies that, under the law, are plainly indefensible. And they will have to do so in a landscape where George Floyd hysteria has receded significantly, albeit not entirely.

BREAKING: Missouri AG office investigates allegations that Media Matters created accounts and gamed servers for hit piece targeting X

"My team is looking into this matter."

Katie Daviscourt Seattle WA

Nov 19, 2023

On Sunday, Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced that his team is investigating left-leaning news organization Media Matters over allegations of criminal and civil violations.

This comes after Elon Musk announced that X-Corp will be launching a "thermonuclear lawsuit" against the company on claims that Media Matters enacted a "fraudulent attack" on X-Corp and in an attempt to "undermine freedom of speech and mislead advertisers."

The specific allegations that Attorney General Bailey's Office is investigating pertain to recent findings that Media Matters allegedly created fake social media accounts to game the X servers in order to create false impressions for its hit piece on Elon Musk. These allegations went viral after they were shared on X by Human Events' Jack Posobiec.

The Regime strikes back against Elon

The liberal establishment are not fans of Elon Musk. This much, anyone with a brain knows. Ever since Musk bought Twitter, and destroyed their central method for imposing struggle sessions/professional ruin on dissenting Americans, they have been desperate for something, anything, that will let them take him down.

They think they’ve found it now. This past Wednesday, the following tweet appeared:

Charles Weber

@CWBOCA

To the cowards hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and posting "Hitler was right":

You got something you want to say? Why dont you say it to our faces…

What The Latest Attacks On Musk Are Really All About

Just as Democrats were trying to downplay the rampant antisemitism in their ranks, what happens? Elon Musk, who has lately become something of a darling on the right, suddenly becomes the poster boy for antisemitism. This is how the left works.

This latest twist started when Media Matters — the George Soros-backed media “watchdog” — released a report claiming that ads for major corporations were appearing next to antisemitic and white supremacist content.

This is a two-fer for the left. It both attacks Musk — whom the left now hates because he stopped Twitter’s side hustle as the federal government censor — and it takes the spotlight off the left’s virulent antisemitism on display after the Hamas attacks.

As soon as Musk took over Twitter and promised to live up to the company’s “free speech wing of the free speech party” mantra, the left went into fits of hysterics.

Media Matters puts it, “Musk has opened the floodgates to hateful content.” Really? Because Twitter was pure as the driven snow before Musk?

We seem to recall that “blue check” leftists had free reign to say whatever they wanted about conservatives on Twitter, up to and including calls for their assassination. After Donald Trump took office, to cite just one example, “assassinate Trump” was showing up all over Twitter. When Twitter banned Trump before Musk bought the company, it let Ayatollah Ali Khamenei continue to incite hate and violence on its platform. Etc., etc.

What companies’ ads were appearing next to this hate speech? Nobody cared.:snip:

Joe Scarborough Rips Through Frightening List Of Donald Trump's Fascism

“It’s time that fascism is called fascism and Americans know exactly what they’re voting for,” said the “Morning Joe” cohost.
Lee Moran
Nov 21, 2023

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Tuesday explained why he believes Donald Trump ticks every box when it comes to fascism.

“It’s time that fascism is called fascism and Americans know exactly what they’re voting for,” said the “Morning Joe” cohost. “You know, I’ve heard people poo-poo this and go, ‘Oh, people on the far left.’ No. I’m a conservative, I’m on the right. There’s a difference between conservatism, radicalism and fascism. This is fascism.”

Scarborough went through a New York Times article detailing what he described as “boilerplate” aspects of fascism.

Elon Musk's X is 'profiting off violent content' by Hamas, House Democrats allege
Kevin Breuninger

Nov. 21 2023

  • House Democrats demanded that X owner Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino explain how they plan to rein in Hamas-related content on the social media platform.
  • "The platform has become a hotbed of misinformation and terrorist propaganda," wrote the group, led by Reps. Dan Goldman of New York and Jamie Raskin of Maryland.
  • The already "inexcusable" issue of antisemitic content on X had become "outright indefensible" since the deadly Oct. 7 terror attack in Israel by Hamas, said the lawmakers.
  • The letter comes as Musk and X fend off accusations of antisemitism that have spurred major brands, including Apple and Disney, to pause their ads on the site.

Elon Musk exposes Media Matters as an ideological shakedown operation

Elon Musk just opened a new front in the war for free speech in a Fort Worth federal court.

There, his X launched a legal missile against Media Matters for America, the longtime left-wing speech assassin and smear merchant that masquerades as a “progressive research and information center.”

X alleges the nonprofit — founded by Democratic hatchet man David Brock, funded by the likes of progressive billionaire George Soros and fixated on canceling conservative voices such as the late Rush Limbaugh and hosts on Fox News — has trained its sights on obliterating the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Media Matters sought to defame and damage the platform by executing the dirtiest of dirty tricks.

According to X’s suit: “Looking to portray X’s social networking platform as being dominated by ‘white nationalist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories,’ Media Matters knowingly and maliciously manufactured side-by-side images depicting advertisers’ posts on X Corp.’s social media platform beside Neo-Nazi and white-nationalist fringe content and then portrayed these manufactured images as if they were what typical X users experience on the platform.”

Media Matters apparently manipulated X’s algorithms to cook up the desired guilt by association:snip:

Media Matters and the Fake News Era Go to Court - Matt Tiabbi

On Tuesday, X/Twitter filed a lawsuit against Media Matters for America (MMfA), the media arm of political smear artist David Brock. Brock made his living in the nineties attacking Democrats, pushing the Paula Jones story and writing The Seduction of Hillary Rodham, until announcing a religious conversion via his 1997 Esquire piece “Confessions of a Right-Wing Hitman” and moving to team blue to head up orgs like Media Matters and Correct the Record. Brock is a unique figure in our history, as perhaps no American has ever turned his face so completely inside out in public.

I can’t indulge in homilies to Elon Musk’s X as a haven for free speech while he also continues to suppress disfavored accounts (including all Substack contributors), but the X suit at least has a chance of becoming a referendum on serious forms of media manipulation. The X allegations, which obviously need proving out, detail in microcosm a phenomenon that’s been unpleasantly familiar to Americans since about 2016. We’ve grown used to a Twilight Zone existence in which nearly every news story of consequence, from Nord Stream to Bountygate to sonic weapons in Cuba, the Dancing Syringe Panic to “Russia Trying to Help Bernie Sanders” to the pee tape have the feel of invented stories. Later, they’re often proved to be, and worse, we’ve been conditioned to forgive the institutions caught routing such fakes our way, and salute the next narratives sent up the flagpole. The method is never put on trial.:snip:

‘Don’t Advertise…. Go F*ck Yourself:’ Elon Musk Lashes Out at Companies ‘Blackmailing’ X/Twitter

Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in the world and owner of X/Twitter, has lashed out at advertisers who withdrew their spending from his social network. Musk claims that companies are trying to “blackmail” him with money, telling former advertisers “go f%@# yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is.”

Variety reports that Elon Musk’s recent outburst at the New York Times’ DealBook Summit has once again made headlines as the Tesla CEO and X/Twitter owner attacked advertisers for pulling their ads from his social media network. Following Musk’s alleged endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory on X/Twitter, several major advertisers, including Disney, IBM, Warner Bros. Discovery, Sony, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Lionsgate, suspended their ad spending.:snip:

If Dems can target billionaire Elon Musk to control speech, who WON’T they target?

The Internet heated up recently when X CEO Elon Musk erupted on stage over Disney and other companies pulling advertising over alleged antisemitism on his platform.

“If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f – – – yourself,” Elon Musk said, stunning both the interviewer and audience.

In case anyone missed his profane advice, Musk repeated it with a wave of his hand toward Disney’s Bob Iger, “Hey, Bob, if you’re in the audience.”

Having spoken to both Musk and his staff, after going to the company to dig through Twitter Files, I was not very shocked by his outburst.

And his anger is entirely understandable.

Democratic operatives have been targeting Musk since he took over the company and ceased censoring Americans.

Their tactic is to gin up flimsy reports that allege hate, and then scream at advertisers for supporting his company.:snip:
