The Latest Development in the Biden Family Corruption Investigation Is Not Good

We have a shocking development in the Biden corruption probe regarding a key witness, but let’s recap here. The evidence of corruption is for all to see, thanks to his cracked-out son, Hunter, leaving the roadmap of their nefarious deeds on his laptop, which the liberal media and their allies in the intelligence committee dismissed as Russian disinformation in October of 2020. That was the real October surprise which was obviously dismissed for political reasons. The device is authentic—and we all knew it. The CIA and the FBI interfered in presidential elections, but you’ve known that for some time. The latest update involved cash payments to the family from Romania, which was funneled into a host of shell companies linked to the Biden clan. Spencer wrote about it last week

The House Oversight Committee released a detailed memo outlining its latest findings, but here's the gist:

"Five weeks after Romania's president visited Washington and met with then-Vice President Biden, an entity called Bladon Enterprises Limited — reportedly Gabriel Popoviciu’s Cypriot company used to do business in Romania — started depositing funds, eventually totaling more than $3 million, into the Robinson Walker, LLC account — one of at least 15 companies created by Biden associates after Joe Biden became vice president.

After the transfers from Bladon to Robinson Walker, bank accounts owned by members of Biden's family "received approximately $1.038 million from the Robinson Walker, LLC account...while Joe Biden was Vice President." Those family members include Hunter Biden, Hallie Biden, and a still-unknown Biden bank account.

The House Oversight Committee's memo points to a previous NBC News report that explained "Hunter Biden’s work for Popoviciu in 2016 went unreported at the time, but Joe Biden’s involvement in Romania was very much public."

Comer reveals that the informant on Biden corruption can’t be located

It’s too soon to push the panic button, but the news that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed to Maria Bartiromo Sunday morning is alarming. The key informant, who provided material about Biden being bribed by a foreign actor to the whistleblower who came to the Committee, can’t be located. That’s troubling, but there may be an innocent explanation. But the stakes are so high, and the Deep State is so ruthless, that the worst sort of explanations are not unthinkable.:snip:

America’s state media: The blackout on Biden corruption is truly ‘Pulitzer-level stuff’ - Jonathan Turley

This week, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) tried to do the impossible. After he and his colleagues presented a labyrinth of LLC shell companies and accounts used to funnel as much as $10 million to Biden family members, Donalds tried to induce the press to show some interest in the massive corruption scandal. “For those in the press, this easy pickings & Pulitzer-level stuff right here,” he pleaded.

The response was virtually immediate. Despite showing nine Biden family members allegedly receiving funds from corrupt figures in Romania, China and other countries, The New Republic quickly ran a story headlined “Republicans Finally Admit They Have No Incriminating Evidence on Joe Biden.

”For many of us, it was otherworldly. A decade ago, when then-Vice President Joe Biden was denouncing corruption in Romania and Ukraine and promising action by the United States, massive payments were flowing to his son Hunter Biden and a variety of family members, including Biden grandchildren.:snip:

IRS removes investigative team from Hunter Biden probe in move whistleblower claims is ‘clearly retaliatory’

WASHINGTON — The IRS on Monday removed the “entire investigative team” from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who recently contacted Congress to allege a coverup in the case, The Post has learned.

The purge allegedly was done on the orders of the Justice Department, the whistleblower’s attorneys informed congressional leaders in a letter.

“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice,” Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt wrote.

The whistleblower, who supervised the Hunter Biden probe since early 2020, hasn’t publicly identified the first son as the subject of the case he says is being brushed under the rug, but congressional sources confirmed it.:snip:

Peter Schweizer: House’s Hunter Findings Are Just the Beginning

The House panel investigating the Biden family’s business deals recently announced that it has already found over $10 million in payments from foreign sources going to more than 20 LLCs set up while Joe Biden was vice president. And the committee’s work is just beginning.

Of course, none of this is news to Peter Schweizer, who first reported this story in 2018. Schweizer and co-host Eric Eggers discuss the new findings on the newest episode of The Drill Down. What more will the committee likely confirm with witness testimony and more financial records?

The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-TN),  has yet to get access to records for Joe Biden’s private phone or bank accounts linked to the biggest Biden deal of them all — the $1.5 billion dollar investment deal between Hunter Biden’s business and an arm of the Chinese government, which he secured after traveling aboard Air Force Two with his father, then vice president, to China in December 2012.:snip:

Breadcrumbs From A Buried FBI Source May Lead To A Bigger Biden Scandal

An FBI whistleblower knows where the evidence is buried — and Sens. Chuck Grassley and James Comer have brought their shovels.

After a confidential human source claimed then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions, FBI agents used what’s called an FD-1023 form to record the allegation. Now FBI Director Christopher Wray is defying a May 3 congressional subpoena to provide this form. On Tuesday, in response to Wray’s refusal to hand over the documents, Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair James Comer announced the House will move to hold the FBI director in contempt of Congress.

It isn’t that announcement — or even the other explosive ones released over the past year by Comer’s Senate colleague, Chuck Grassley — that prove the most telling, however. Rather, it is the combination of all the details, big and small, that suggests the scandal set to unfold over the coming weeks will be bigger than anyone imagined.

The Dirt Is in the Details

Take recent big news from whistleblower disclosures revealing that the Justice Department and the FBI have the unclassified FD-1023 form spelling out Biden’s alleged criminal behavior. Then combine that with other known information to discover the bigger picture.

For instance, in response to Wray’s failure to comply with the subpoena, Grassley, who had previously noted the FD-1023 form was five or six pages long, indicated that the confidential human source (CHS) was “an apparent trusted FBI source.” This is huge because Grassley wouldn’t make that claim unless the whistleblower had. That means the source is not some random guy walking in off the street, but rather an existing “trusted” CHS, which is why the FBI used the FD-1023 form.:snip:

‘Missing’ Biden family corruption probe witness Gal Luft speaks out, living as fugitive in undisclosed location

Gal Luft, the “missing” witness in the House Oversight Committee’s Biden family corruption investigation, has told The Post he is alive and living as a fugitive in an undisclosed location.

The former Israeli Defense Force colonel vanished from Cyprus last month while on bail awaiting extradition to the US on seven charges.

He denies the allegations, which include five charges relating to the Arms Export Control Act of conspiring to sell Chinese products to the United rab Emirates, Kenya and Libya, as well as a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and of making a false statement.

Luft claims he was forced to skip bail because he is the victim of a political persecution by the US to protect Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and brother Jim.

“The chances of me getting a fair trial in Washington are virtually zero,” he said in a call from an undisclosed foreign country, explaining why he skipped bail. “I had to do what I had to do.”

He will not say how he escaped Cyprus because “I don’t want to get people in trouble.”

His car was found by police abandoned near the airport.:snip:

CNN Interviews Comey on Every Alleged Violation of the Rule of Law . . . Except His Own

Jonathan Turley

May 31 2023

Former FBI Director James Comey sat down for a remarkable interview on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” this week. The interview was able to evade any mention of the findings of misconduct and false statements made by Comey. It was impressive how in a target rich environment CNN was still able to hit the small spaces between the scandals.

Cooper cut to the chase and raised the current campaign for president. Comey did not disappoint and declared Trump a “threat to the rule of law.”

I do not object to Comey voicing such an opinion. Comey then went further to declare that the GOP was now a “cult” and held forth on the need to protect the rule of law against political bias.

For those of us who have been long critics of Comey, the interview was almost a mocking parody.
