The Best Way To Get ‘Order At The Border’ Is To Close It Once And For All

The illegal immigration crisis isn’t very complex. If you want “order at the border” — as Democrats such as President Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claim — then it needs to be closed once and for all.

The problem, however, is that the Left’s definition of “order” simply means that illegal aliens are “processed” by immigration officials and then released into the country via new “legal” measures. “Order” to the Democrats does not mean having the necessary physical barriers or manpower necessary at the U.S.-Mexican border to deter entry. Nor does it include enforcing policies that effectively prevent illegal immigrants from entering the nation in the first place.

Democrats tend to think that many of these illegal aliens have a right to be in the country — and that the country needs them for cheap labor. The issue is how these foreign nationals arrive — not that they’re coming in record numbers, to Biden and his ilk. Democrats want an orderly system for these individuals to come into the country.

As the following photo below shows, the Biden administration seems to have succeeded in doing just that. Per the caption provided by Getty, the image depicts “In an aerial view, immigrants line up to be processed to make asylum claims at a makeshift migrant camp on May 11, 2023 in El Paso, Texas.”

‘Cannot Control The Movement Of People’: Mayorkas Refuses To Say Whether Border Crisis Could Have Been Avoided

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas refused to say Friday whether the crisis on the border could have been prevented.

“We cannot control the movement of people before they reach our border,” Mayorkas told “Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos. “Our responsibility attaches once they are in our custody.” (RELATED: CNN Analyst Claims Massive Surge Of Illegal Immigration Under Biden Has Nothing To Do With Him)

Mayorkas predicted during testimony before the Senate Homeland Security Committee at an April 18 hearing that there would be a surge of migrants after Title 42 expired. The Trump-era border policy expired Thursday at 11:59 p.m.

Mayorkas has claimed that the border is not open on multiple occasions, including during a Wednesday press conference where he ignored questions from Daily Caller News Foundation investigative reporter Jennie Taer.
