A whistleblower is alleging that the FBI and the Justice Department are in possession of a document that describes a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley said Wednesday.

Comer, R-Ky., and Grassley, R-Iowa, say the whistleblower claims the document "includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose."

The document, an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions.

Comer issued a subpoena today following legally protected disclosures to Grassley’s office.

Whistleblower’s claims against Biden could be biggest US scandal ever

OK, this really should be easy: Every news outlet in the country, every law enforcement agency with jurisdiction, every appropriate congressional committee, and the full weight of the FBI should be aggressively probing the Biden family’s financial records.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) say a credible whistleblower alleges that the FBI and Justice Department have a document with a “precise description” of a “criminal scheme” between a foreign national and then-Vice President Joe Biden involving payment of money for policy decisions.:snip:

Ex-prosecutor approached DOJ in 2018 with witness who claimed Joe Biden involved in 'bribery'

respected former federal prosecutor approached the U.S. Justice Department in fall 2018 on behalf of a foreign witness who claimed to have evidence that Joe Biden had "exercised influence to protect" his son's employer in Ukraine in return for money to his family, according to interviews and documents obtained by Just the News.

The agency didn't take up the ex-prosecutor on his offer but instead secretly obtained his phone records a year later in an apparent effort to identify his contacts.

Retired Little Rock, Ark., U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins wrote then-New York U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman on Oct. 4, 2018 that then-Ukraine Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko was willing to travel to the United States to present evidence about the Bidens and Burisma Holdings.:snip:
