Author and mathematician James Lindsay has been reportedly locked out of his Twitter account for up to a week for sharing misleading' information about COVID vaccines.

The tweet, which reportedly triggered the lockout, was a retweet of physician-scientist and author Eric Topol, who posted a graphic and a study on the effects of "long COVID."

Lindsay was locked out of his account for 12 hours in November 2021, due to several posts in which he responded simply, "Ok groomer," a play on "Ok boomer," to tweets defending the teaching and pushing of gender identities in schools.
