Draggingtree Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Uncle Arthur's Chantilly Fudge By Linda's Busy KitchenTotal Time: 20 minsPrep Time: 10 minsCook Time: 10 minsIngredients:• 2 cupssugar• 3/4 cupheavy cream• 1 cupmilk• 2 tablespoonsKaro light corn syrup• 1/2 teaspoonsalt• 1 teaspoonvanilla• 1 cup nutsDirections:In a heavy saucepan combine first 5 ingredients, and mix together.Cook on med. heat to 238 degrees using a candy thermometer.Take off stove, and add vanilla.Beat with wooden spoon until creamy, and shiny.Add nuts, and stir well.Put in a buttered 11x7" pan.Cut into squares.Store in cookie tin or tupperware, and refrigerate, if you want to.Note: Cooking time is approximate. cudjo Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 I've tried many many times to make fudge like that since I was 10 yrs old, never ever had it turn out woth a hoot.
