Ferguson: Waiting on Justice

Written by Bob Adelmann

Rumors that the St. Louis grand jury had arrived at a verdict in the shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson policy officer Darren Wilson and would announce it over the weekend were quashed. An anonymous tip received byUSA Today from an official acquainted with the matter said that the jury met for five hours on Friday and would convene again on Monday.

Efforts by radicals continued to roil the unhappy city of 20,000, with protesters taking to the streets on Saturday night chanting “No justice, no peace!” Police in riot gear arrived to disperse the crowd and made two arrests for unlawful assembly. Scissors-32x32.png

I guess the only picture available for the "memorial site" was the cap and gown pic.

Here's an image that you never see in the MSM. Surprised the DOJ hasn't had it removed from the internet.

According to CNN... Brown family requesting 4 and a half minute period of silence before protest.

What a strange request. Reminded me of the stupid show.

Sort of surreal watching Obama talk about calm, while windows are being broken, police car being flipped, fires being set, tear gas being launched....

Rioting, burning and looting now in full swing.

You know, if it had been any other color combination (black cop + black thug, white cop + white thug or black cop + white thug), we would have never heard about it.

Twin Cities activists announce 2 rallies in response to Ferguson decision

Twin Cities organizers and activists took to social media Monday night and announced two Minneapolis rallies on Tuesday in response to the news that a Missouri grand jury decided not to indict a white police officer for fatally shooting a black teenager.

A student rally in support of victims of police brutality was planned for 3 p.m. at the University of Minnesota’s Coffman Memorial Union.

A solidarity rally and march for Michael Brown, who was killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, was planned for 4:30 p.m. near the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct building at E. Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue.

Minneapolis Police Chief Janeé Harteau announced that the department may support demonstrators by providing logistical support and rerouting traffic as needed.

She could have at least offered half price gas and coke bottles if paid for using EBT cards. Just another example of the police insensitivity to the needs of the oppressed communities.

The contest of having the first ___(you fill in the blanks)____ in the government job has really paid off lately.

Now that they've had the first female police chief.... what's next?

The first black female police chief? Then the first black female transgender police chief? Where does it stop?

(Sad answer: it doesn't)

Portland Wackjobs Rally For Michael Brown http://youtu.be/XhpXmL2uDt0

"All the cops in the ground, rest in peace, Michael Brown" chant the

Portland protesters, as they marched through the street screaming and

yelling. Others show a banner that has a drawing of a dead pig on it

with the words "F*** you neoliberal fascist pigs". At the end of the

march, they block off an intersection before returning to the cop shop

to continue their rally.
