President Donald Trump confirmed Sunday the infamous Trump Tower meeting that included his son Donald Trump Jr. and son-in-law Jared Kushner was about obtaining information on Hillary Clinton, not adoption like he previously claimed.

What are the details?

Trump’s tweet came in response to a widely covered report in the mainstream media over the weekend. The report alleged Trump is increasingly worried about his eldest son becoming ensnared in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Trump called the reporting a “complete fabrication.”

However, he revealed in his tweet what many have alleged for more than a year: that the infamous Trump Tower meeting during the height of the 2016 presidential campaign was about obtaining damaging information on Clinton, his opponent for the White House, whom Trump did not specifically mention in his tweet.
