Valin
NBC: Safia Samee Ali and Mohamed Hassan Nov. 9 2016 Thousands of protesters swarmed the streets of several major cities Wednesday to voice their opposition to Donald Trump, who less than 24 hours earlier stunned the world in a upset victory to become the 45th person elected president of the United States. Protesters in Chicago chanted "Not my president" and "F--- Trump" outside Trump International Hotel & Tower in what seemed like a grand uprising — one in which minority groups that have felt targeted by Trump over the past 18 months hoped to send a direct message to the president-elect. "I'm here today because I'm speechless at what happened," Rebecca Gomez, 22, told NBC News. "I'm Mexican, but I was born in the United States. I'm afraid people won't care about that, though. I'm afraid they will be violent." In New York, thousands of protesters could be heard chanting and banging drums as they marched past Rockefeller Center up Sixth Avenue, barely even acknowledging the rain. SrWoodchuck
Strange how these spontaneous protestors across several cities have the same yellow signs. @Valin @clearvision BREAKING! Hillary supporters used Craigslist ad to hire Time-Square rioters BREAKING LIVE FEED: 5 People Shot At Anti-Trump Protest…All Are In Critical Condition http://100percentfedup.com/breaking-live-feed-5-people-shot-at-anti-trump-protestall-are-in-critical-condition-video/ This is Obama and Soros’ army at work…make no mistake about it… This is 1 of 7 anti-Trump rallies raging across America. Wouldn’t it make sense for Obama and Soros to prey on the anger so many Americans are feeling right now over Trump’s loss? According to social media posts by KOMO-TV and other sources, multiple people were shot Wednesday in Seattle during protests over election results. At least five people have reportedly been shot and all are said to have critical injuries. Seattle Asst. Chief says that a lone suspect was in a crowd near or watching the anti-Trump protests, when an argument of some sort developed. One of the people in the argument stepped away, fired back into the crowd at the person or people with whom he was arguing. At least some of the wounded are believed to be innocent bystanders waiting for a bus. Only one man is seriously injured. The four other injuries are believed to be to the lower extremities. Authorities were on the scene within 60 seconds, as police and EMS were staged just down the street due to the protests. The suspect is still at large. – Bearing Arms

Draggingtree
In ProtestAnti-Donald Trump protests broke out across the country on Wednesday following the election of the Republican candidate, and things were no different in Texas. Austin saw a particularly large protest movement, as about 400 people—mostly students from the University of Texas at Austin—gathered at the steps of the UT Tower before marching through downtown, blocking traffic and adding sympathetic passersby to their ranks along the way, according to the Austin American-Statesman. The protest lasted for about eight hours and there were no arrests. Teachers and students at an Austin elementary school kneeled during the pledge on Wednesday in protest. About 300 protesters took to the streets in Dallas, and hundreds of students at Texas A&M protested against Trump too. In Houston, a small contingent of protesters posted up at the University of Houston beat and burned a Trump piñata. http://www.texasmonthly.com/the-daily-post/state-texas-trumped/

Draggingtree
The Opinion Pages | Op-Ed Contributor Erick Erickson: Eating Crow on Donald Trump By ERICK-WOODS ERICKSON NOV. 10, 2016 Atlanta — Donald J. Trump will be the next president of the United States. I got it absolutely wrong. I have been writing since February that he would not win. The great paradox of this election for me is that I never saw Mr. Trump as a legitimate contender in the primaries because I believed the polling was wrong, but it was right all along. In the general election, I presumed he would never win because the polling was right, but it was wrong all along. In an election in which I wanted both candidates to lose, the man I wanted to lose beat the woman I wanted to lose, and I am O.K. with that. If I was wrong about the election, I am willing to admit I can be wrong about Donald Trump. I hope others will embrace some humility on that front as well. Mr. Trump will be the president. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/opinion/erick-erickson-eating-crow-on-donald-trump.html?_r=0

Nice of him to go from NEVER-EVER-TRUMPING...to OH-WHAT-THE-HELL-OK. What are his options? Elite Republicans need to "mea culpa" just as much as committed Progressive Socialists. It's not enough for Erickson to admit his sins (in Reaganesque terms of never attacking another Republican) but he must acknowledge that entrenched elitism, crony capitalism, oligarchy & professional politics...solely for gaining re-election...were defeated as soundly as Zombie Progressivism. I'll reserve my opinion until I see his action. He has a platform, that...due to his ignorant stance...has been damaged, and has lost credibility. Another observation: We are on new ground here. Both parties were locked out...and all their fawning sycophantic PAC's & media. While the Trump age bears the Republican brand...it is outside the bounds of that party. For myself, I firmly believe that prayer...unrelenting & fervent...had as much to do with the outcome as anything else.
