Geee
Rasmussen:Trust on IssuesVoters Now Trust Republicans More On All 10 Key IssuesVoters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 of the important issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports. The GOP has consistently been trusted on most issues for months now, but in July they held the lead on only nine of the key issues. Republicans lead Democrats 47% to 39% on the economy, which remains the most important issue to voters. Those numbers are nearly identical to those found in June. Republicans have held the advantage on the economy since May of last year. But for the first time in months, Republicans now hold a slight edge on the issues of government ethics and corruption, 40% to 38%. Voters have been mostly undecided for the past several months on which party to trust more on this issue, but Democrats have held small leads since February. Still, more than one-in-five voters (22%) are still not sure which party to trust more on ethics issues.
AceRimmer
This article is a good indication of why the RATS are now in open panic about the mid-terms. Expect more of the "Blame Bush" ads and speeches to come in the next couple of months....
Argyle58
Blaming Bush is a losing strategy. It does not explain away Health Care "Reform", which was foisted on us against our will through crooked and illegal means. Blaming Bush will not negate the massive pork bill deemed by the Dims as "Stimulus", an obvious failure, for obvious reasons. Blaming Bush does not explain away the perversion of the TARP bill, which was never intended as a means to bail out banks and insurance companies, nor the takeover of American businesses. Surely Zero cannot blame Bush for his own failures in foreign policy and relations, his "Apology Tour", his and his family's lavish vacations and golf outings, or his own loss of popularity. Finally, blaming Bush cannot be used to explain away the country's problems.....the budget, and thereby the economy, are the responsibility of Congress, which has been under Democrat control for the past 3 3/4 years. So, go ahead and Blame Bush.......conservatives look forward to that opportunity to making you eat your words.
