During a speech to the African Union today, President Obama told the leaders there that he could probably run for a third term as president and win – even though it is against the law in America.

“I actually think I’m a pretty good president,” he said. “I think if I ran, I could win. But I can’t.”

Obama added that he had a lot ideas he wanted to do to “keep America moving,” but that “the law is the law, and no one person is above the law, not even the president.”

Obama’s comments were made in context of his argument that term limits were a good thing and that “no one should be president forever.”

He joked that he wanted to return to his private life without the intrusions of a big security detail so that he could do things like visit Africa and spend time with his family.

“The point is I don’t understand why people want to stay so long,” he said as he grinned. “Especially when they’ve got a lot of money.”Scissors-32x32.png

President Obama is feeling good about his chances at re-election -- if he could run again.

The president went off-script Tuesday during his address before the African Union, as he talked about the importance of term limits.

After citing the example of the U.S. presidency, he quipped: "I actually think I'm a pretty good president. I believe if I ran again, I could win."

"But I can't," he added.

Well, isn't that just too bad...

The horrible truth is, he probably could win again if it was within the law.

That's scarey - but it could be true. Who thought that people would be so blind last time. That's why, short of them finding Hillary guilty of murder, she could be our next disaster.
