On Wednesday, a federal jury in New York found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty on five of six counts related to her involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking of teenaged girls between 1994 and 2004.

Maxwell was charged with six counts including sex trafficking of a minor, transportation of a minor to engage in illegal sex, enticement of a minor to travel to perform sex acts, and three counts of conspiracy in connection with the previous charges. She pleaded not guilty to all charges in July.

She was found not guilty on the count of luring a minor to travel to participate in illegal sex acts. Since she was acquitted on one count, Maxwell faces up to 65 years in prison rather than the 70-year maximum had she been convicted of all six.

Ghislaine Maxwell Ends Fight to Keep Eight ‘John Does’ Secret

Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell will no longer fight to keep the names of eight “John Does” secret, leaving it up to the court to decide whether or not to reveal their identities.

“After careful review of the detailed objections submitted by Non-Party Does 17, 53, 54, 55, 73, 93 and 151, counsel for Ghislaine Maxwell writes to inform the Court that she does not wish to further address those objections,” Maxwell attorney Laura Menninger wrote in a letter on January 12.:snip:

GHISLAINE MAXWELL SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN JEFFREY EPSTEIN SEX TRAFFICKING CASE

Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 in prison Tuesday for her role in helping powerful pedophile Jeffrey Epstein abuse young girls, capping off a dramatic fall from grace for the British socialite turned-convicted sex-trafficker.

US District Judge Alison Nathan said the sentence of 240 months was “sufficient and not greater than necessary,” for Maxwell, who earlier addressed the court and told her victims, “I am sorry for the pain that you experienced.”

“I hope my conviction and harsh incarceration brings you closure,” said Maxwell, wearing blue jail scrubs, her dark brown locks cut in a bob.

Maxwell’s sentencing marked the end of the federal criminal proceedings against her in the Southern District of New York, where she was brought after her arrest at a sprawling New Hampshire estate in July 2020. :snip:

"Fake News"

This one of my (minor) obsessions. There are some  prisons that are easier to do Time in than others, But they are All really bad. And some of the lower security prisons are worse than the higher security prisons.

The facility has a number of cushy programs on offer for inmates, including a 'wide variety of hobby craft and music' as well as circuit training, aerobics, over 50 fitness.

And these can be taken away from you At Any Time, For Any or No reason.
