ADVERTISEMENT "I think that [Doocy] has become the Sam Donaldson of this White House press corps ... and Jen Psaki, I think, is one of the best press secretaries ever," he added, referencing former ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Sam Donaldson, who was known for his aggressive question of former President Reagan. “I don’t know that anything was particularly accomplished, but they both gave and got pretty good,” Wallace added. Wallace, who worked as chief White House correspondent for NBC News, added that the flattering comparison between Doocy and Donaldson was a "very grudging compliment," as he had been a White House correspondent at the same time as Donaldson.
